Ludlow Independent Public Schools announced this week that they will extend the district’s spring break from its original date range of April 1 to April 5 to a revised range of April 1 to April 8, with classes resuming on Tuesday, April 9, according to a letter posted on the district’s social media pages.
The announcement states that the change will allow construction crews to complete preliminary work in and around some of the elementary school classrooms. The letter goes on to say the extra time will allow crews to complete their work without endangering student safety.
