Registration for the Kenton County Parks & Recreation adult softball league is now open.
Kenton County Parks & Recreation offers recreational softball in two leagues for adults:
- Monday Men’s Church/Recreational League with two divisions: A (up to seven teams) & B (up to seven teams)
- Friday Co-Ed League with two divisions: A (up to seven teams) & B (up to seven teams)
Teams can have as many as 20 players on a roster during the regular season.
During the regular season, teams are vying for tournament seeding, t-shirts and a league championship trophy. The winning team will receive a championship trophy and t-shirts.
Teams are required to register by March 31. Fees for the season cost $265 per team, which includes $15 in tax. Included in the fees are costs associated with:
- Regular season round-robin play
- Single-elimination tournament
- League administration dues for Kenton County Parks & Recreation
- One dozen U.S.S.S.A.-approved softballs (Additional balls are available for purchase at $50 per dozen.)
Games will be played at Lincoln Ridge, Pioneer and Middleton-Mills parks. There will be two games on the fields each night during the regular season. Teams will play up to eight games in each league/division. Random pairings will rotate the schedule so teams will play approximately the same number of games on each field.
There will be a managers’ meeting on Monday, March 18, at 7:00 p.m. at the Kenton County Public Works Administration Building located at 420 Independence Station Rd. in Independence.
Managers must register online ahead of the meeting at bit.ly/kcprcatalog.
