Kentucky Employers’ Mutual Insurance honored the Northern Kentucky Water District with its 2023 Destiny Award, which highlights a commitment to workplace safety, at the district’s board meeting on Jan. 19.

“Workplace safety is a top priority for our entire team, and we are proud to have received this award for the twelfth consecutive year,” said district President/CEO Lindsey Rechtin in a press release. “Our board demonstrates its ongoing commitment through investing in our established safety program and by supporting new initiatives.”

Organizations that receive the award demonstrate a commitment to safety through regular training and meetings on safety, as well as effective formal procedures protecting their employees. Kentucky Employers’ Mutual Insurance presented 25 such awards among its 20,000 clients across the commonwealth.
