January is National Radon Action Month, and the Northern Kentucky Health Department is offering residents free radon test kits and other resources to help people protect themselves.
Radon is the leading environmental cause of all cancers and the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. Visit the department’s dedicated webpage to request a radon kit and get additional resources on radon mitigation and safety.
