Each year, the Kenton County Pioneer Awards recognize residents of Kenton County who have a record of outstanding service to the community and exemplify the highest standards of personal integrity.

Pioneer Award nominations are due by Friday, Feb. 16. A committee composed of community leaders will review the nominations, identify those deserving individuals, and submit their names to the Kenton County Fiscal Court.

Honorees will be announced on March 19.

Once approved, honorees will be recognized at a Kenton County Fiscal Court meeting. Since 2018, there have been 25 Pioneer Award honorees.

Nominations can be made on the Kenton County website. Current elected officials are not eligible for recognition.
