Fort Mitchell City Council re-appointed councilmember Greg Pohlgeers to Kenton County’s Planning and Development Services at its Nov. 11 meeting.
Fort Mitchell Councilmember Greg Pohlgeers was re-appointed to Kenton County’s Planning and Development Services, which some refer to as PDS. Pohlgeers has served on council for seven years and is council vice president.
Members of the planning and development committee, which some refer to as PDS, approve the annual budget and the city work program. They also select and approve an auditor each year.
But the public may be more familiar with the planning and development council when it comes to applying for zoning permits or seeking assistance with development projects.
“I am proud to serve as a resource to our Community by assisting or answering questions regarding Zoning, Code Enforcement, GIS tools, etc,” Pohlgeers said.
Mayor Jude Hehman said at the meeting that Pohlgeers, who has been on council for seven years, has done a really great job.
“He has put a lot of time into PDS,” Hehman said. “I really think it’s important that we keep him involved.”
