The Kentucky Women’s Law Enforcement Network has honored Sergeant Rachel White of the Covington Police Department as their Member of the Year for 2023.

White was honored for her commitment to mentoring and community outreach, according to a press release from Covington Police Department.

“She served as our department’s community liaison officer and was instrumental in establishing the department’s ‘Bookworms’ program,” the press release said. “She is also a Trustee for the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge One. This year she served as the chair of KWLEN’s service project committee and researched organizations that could benefit from fundraising. Sgt. White also shared KWLEN’s scholarship opportunities with others, which resulted in new applications being submitted so officers would have the opportunity to attend this year’s conference and network with others from across the Commonwealth.”
