The Kentucky League of Cities presentedĀ Campbell County Planning & Zoning Commission Presiding Officer Michael Williams with a Level I Achievement in City Governance Award.
The group administers the City Officials Training Center, a voluntary education program. City officials can complete education levels by attending the league’s events and submitting outside educational credit from other municipal training.
āKLC is committed to helping local leaders continuously learn and grow,ā the league’s executive director and CEO James D. Chaney said. āThis is a testament to the dedication and community service of Mr. Williams.ā
The Level I Achievement in City Governance award requires a city official to attend a minimum of 29 hours of approved training with one hour of ethics training.
