The Kentucky League of Cities presentedĀ Campbell County Planning & Zoning Commission Presiding Officer Michael Williams with a Level I Achievement in City Governance Award.

The group administers the City Officials Training Center, a voluntary education program. City officials can complete education levels by attending the league’s events and submitting outside educational credit from other municipal training.

ā€œKLC is committed to helping local leaders continuously learn and grow,ā€ the league’s executive director and CEO James D. Chaney said. ā€œThis is a testament to the dedication and community service of Mr. Williams.ā€

The Level I Achievement in City Governance award requires a city official to attend a minimum of 29 hours of approved training with one hour of ethics training.
