Southern Living Magazine has coined Bellevue one of the “most charming small towns” in the state.
Southern Living is a lifestyle magazine that targets readers in the southern U.S. with information about southern culture, travel, and more. The magazine named its top 13 cities in Kentucky with distinctive personalities and small-town charm.
Part of that personality noted in the article was Bellevue’s downtown, which hosts street festivals like its “First Friday” events, farmers markets and parades.
The article pointed to Bellevue’s Fairfield Avenue, with independently owned small businesses in colorful Italianate buildings, specifically noting antique shops, boutiques, and a stop on The B-Line—northern Kentucky’s self-guided bourbon trail—at Three Spirits Tavern.
