Scott High to participate in McDonald’s Digital Sports Day Fundraiser

McDonald’s franchise owners throughout Ohio will be raising funds for local high school athletic programs through the app. Scott High School is Taylor Mill is one of the schools participating in the fundraiser.

The ‘High School Sports Digital Fundraiser’ is slated for Friday, Oct. 6. Twenty percent of all sales purchased through the McDonald’s app will be donated to Scott’s sports programs.

The McDonald’s locations participating in the fundraiser are at 5055 Old Taylor Mill Road, 3720 Alexandria Pike, and 1450 Saint Johns Lane.

“We are proud to be a part of the Taylor Mill community,” said McDonald’s Owner/Operator Erica Shadoinm in a news release. “This is the first time all Ohio area owner operators have come together on one day to show our support for athletics in the communities we serve. Our hope is that the community will come out to support their local high school and help us make the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day a success throughout the state.”

The fundraiser’s purpose is for McDonald’s franchisees to support local sports programs. Each identified high school will receive a minimum of $250.
