Boone County Water Rescue is seeking individuals with grant writing experience to assist with efforts to secure grant funding.
Volunteers have proven to be vital to the agency, and the unique skill set grant writers provide is invaluable, officials said.
Established in 1967 and under the direction of the Boone County Civil Defense program, Boone County Water Rescue is a group of 50 volunteers who work more than 12,000 hours annually in water rescue activities, according to the agency’s website.
