In recognition of September being designated National Library Card Sign-Up Month, the Boone County Public Library is encouraging residents to explore the benefits offered through card ownership.
Access to technology, resources and services that can potentially expand horizons are possible via a library card – with the ability to borrow books, movies and music being among the offerings, according to the library’s website.
Additionally, those possessing library cards have access to library computers, printers and students are offered homework assistance, officials said.
The Boone County Public Library is requesting anyone interested in acquiring a library card call (859) 342-BOOK.
