The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 office has provided an update for the resurfacing project on I-471 continuing this week.
Monday, Sept. 11: On I-471 northbound, there will be a right lane closure from north of the I-275 interchange to north of KY 8 (Bellevue/Dayton exit). Additionally, the on-ramps from US 27 (Alexandria Pike) and KY 1892 (Grand Avenue) to I-471 northbound will be closed.
On I-471 southbound, there will be a left lane closure from north of the I-275 interchange to the intersection of US 27/Sunset Drive. Additionally, the ramp from I-275 westbound to I-471 southbound will be closed.
Lane/ramp closures will be in place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
​Tuesday, Sept. 12: On I-471 northbound, a right lane closure will be in place from north of the Memorial Parkway exit to south of Daniel Carter Beard Bridge. There will be a double left lane closure from north of the I-275 interchange to the south of the US 27 ​​exit. Additionally, the on-ramp from KY 1120 (Memorial Parkway) to I-471 northbound will be closed.​​
On I-471 southbound, there will be a right lane closure from south of the US 27 exit to the intersection of US 27/Sunset Drive. Additionally, the ramp from I-275 eastbound to I-471 southbound will be closed.
Lane/ramp closures will be in place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 13: ​There will be a left lane closure on I-471 northbound ​from north of US 27 to south of KY 1892. The lane will close at 8 p.m. and will become a double left lane closure at 11 p.m. Additionally, the on-ramp from US 27 to I-471 northbound will be closed. The lane/ramp closures will open at 5 a.m.
Thursday, Sept. 14, and Friday, Sept. 15: no lane closures.
