The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is conducting a full-scale mass casualty training scheduled for Friday, Sept. 8, at 9 a.m.
Participants are slated to meet at CVG North Fire Station at 81 Clay Drive in Hebron. The training is set to last until approximately 11 a.m.
The drill aims to test the airport’s emergency response plan to a disaster. In total, more than 250 community volunteers, 80 mutual aid agencies and six hospitals will participate.
Under Federal Aviation Administration guidelines, the training is mandatory and takes place every three years.
