Amanda Turner, a 38-year-old Covington resident, was arrested and charged yesterday in connection to a shooting in Independence on Aug. 25. Turner has been charged with unlawful transaction with a minor, riot in the first degree, and accessory to murder.
Amanda Turner now joins Xxavion Turner, aged 20, and a minor, whose identity the Independent Police Department did not release pending trial, in the suspects arrested for the shooting of Seth Burns, aged 23. Police believe the shooting was the result of an ongoing dispute between the victims and perpetrators.
The minor was charged with murder and moved to Fayette County Regional Juvenile Detention Facility the day after the shooting. No other details on the suspect’s identity have been released.
