Covington-based staffing and consulting firm Tier1 Performance recently announced the promotion of a new president.
Current Chief Operating Officer Katie Frey, an employee who has been with the firm for around ten years, is succeeding co-founder and CEO Greg Harmeyer, according to a company press release. Harmeyer will remain in his current role as CEO.
“Throughout TiER1’s journey I’ve been repeatedly humbled and inspired by the incredible people that have been part of our growth,” Harmeyer said in the release. “Katie is one of those people. She is client-centered, strategic, deeply empathetic and fearless. The board and I are extraordinarily confident in her ability to lead TiER1 in this next season of growth.”
Frey first started at Tier1 in 2013 as a change consultant. She’s been involved in numerous companywide functions such as organizational development, strategic growth, and client development.
“I am honored to step into this role and excited to lead TiER1 Performance into its next chapter,” Frey said. “Today’s economic environment is filled with both challenges and significant opportunities for impact; we are well poised for continued growth and innovation to continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients.”
