The Boone County Public Library Foundation has outlined a trio of the organization’s key initiatives, according to the foundation’s web page.
The endeavors include the Early Childhood Literacy/Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, in which a free book is provided to every child in Boone County from birth to five, to support kindergarten readiness.
Also, the Boone County Borderlands Archive and History Center – which researches a variety of regional history topics, as well as capital projects planned for the next 20 years to meet community needs.
The Boone County Public Library Foundation was established in 2022 and supports the library and its programs. Find more information about the program at bcpl.org.
