John Shelton has been hired as Boone County’s new food and beverage supervisor for the county’s golf courses.
“We had excellent candidates for this position and we were very pleased with our search,” Boone County Human Resources Director Lori Zombek said. “John comes to us with over 20 years of restaurant, large-scale catering and cafeteria work.”
Shelton possesses culinary and business degrees, Zombek said.
The Boone County Fiscal Court approved the action via a 4-0 vote during its Aug. 22 session.
