Single lane closures on KY 9, also known as the AA Highway, in Campbell County, will begin Monday, Aug. 14, as part of a resurfacing project, per The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 6 Office.

The general project area is east and west of the US 27 (Alexandria Pike) exit. Crews will be working on a 2.5-mile section of the highway.

Weather permitting, road crews will address base failures beginning the week of Monday, Aug. 14. Motorists should expect single-lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, evening/overnight single-lane closures should be expected from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction at all times.

US 27 ramp closures will take place during the project. The transportation cabinet will advise motorists ahead of any planned ramp closures.

Motorists are advised to find an alternate route during working hours.

The project is expected to be completed by Nov. 15.
