In a social media post Wednesday, the Covington Police Department announced they had identified and charged a suspect involved in a stabbing that occurred near Covington Plaza on Tuesday.
“The defendant is identified as 34-year-old Kevin Giome,” the announcement said. “He is charged with Assault 1st Degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Menacing and Resisting Arrest. He is being held in the Kenton Co. Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
“The victim remains in critical condition at UC Hospital.”
