The Boone County Fiscal Court has promoted Andrew Lentz to the arboretum apprentice position for the Boone County Parks Department.
“This particular position is a crew-like position within the arboretum internship program,” Boone County Human Resources Director Lori Zombek said. “It is reimbursed through our agreement with the Extension District and we are recommending he be our apprentice.”
The Boone County Arboretum, which offers more than 3,600 trees and shrubs, is a partnership between the Boone County Cooperative Extension and the Boone County Fiscal Court, the Boone County Parks Department web page noted.
