The Boone County Fiscal Court has appointed Doug Bramer to the Aviation Noise Abatement Committee.

The committee receives updates from airport officials on aviation activity, in addition to related impacts of the airport on the quality of life of communities surrounding the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, the Boone County website noted.

“He is an aviation professional working with the Georgetown, Kentucky airport now, but he lives in Boone County,” Boone County Judge/Executive Gary W. Moore said regarding Bramer. “Very active his entire career in aviation. He understands flights and flight patterns – noise. He’s going to be an amazing addition to the committee.”

The Aviation Noise Abatement Committee is a regional board, with appointments from Ohio and other counties, Moore said.
