The Boone County Fiscal Court is selling various county vehicles and wheels after they were declared to be surplus items.
The items include eight retired pursuit vehicles and one minivan from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office; three vehicles and one boat from Boone County Water Rescue; two vehicles from the parks department; and one totaled flatbed truck and two skids of obsolete wheels from the public works department.
“As with all surplussed items, these will go for sale on the govdeals.com website in the coming weeks,” Boone County Assistant County Administrator/County Engineer Rob Franxman said regarding the items for which the county no longer has use.
