Got old tires lying around?
Drop off your tires for free between Aug. 10 and 12 at the Campbell County Road Department, 1175 Racetrack Road in Alexandria. The event is for all residents of Kentucky.
The following types of tires are accepted:
- Truck
- Tractor
- Lawn
- Bicycle
- Motorcycle
- Golf cart
- ATV
- Farm implement
The hours for the event are Aug. 10 and 11 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Aug. 12 from 8 a.m. to noon.
No commercial haulers, contractors, businesses, scrap yards, recycling centers, or tire retailers are allowed. If you have questions or have more than 1,000 tires, please contact the Solid Waste Coordinator at (859) 547-1866 or SolidWaste@campbellcountyky.gov.
