The City of Covington recently announced a new stop sign installation on Highland Avenue at the intersection of Emery Drive. The signs’ installation follows numerous public complaints about traffic on the road.

A permanent sign has been installed for westbound traffic, and a temporary sign has been installed for eastbound traffic, which will be replaced with a permanent sign soon, according to the city.

The city advises drivers who frequent the area to be aware of the new signs when traveling down the road.
