The Boone County Fiscal Court has appointed Ruth Tanner to the Northern Kentucky Area Development District Council on Aging.
“Ruth retired from the county,” Boone County Judge/Executive Gary W. Moore said. “She ran the assisted housing department and worked within the department for many years.”
With regard to the appointment, Tanner has strong interest in the welfare of Boone County residents and is caring and conscientious, Moore said.
“She’s graciously agreed to serve and I think she’d be great on the Council on Aging,” Moore said. “She’ll fight for Boone County to get its share of funding.”
