County officials are commending the Boone County Parks Department’s efforts to enhance residents’ quality of life amid National Parks and Recreation Month.
In recognition of National Parks and Recreation Month, celebrated in July annually, Boone County Judge/Execute Gary W. Moore has issued a proclamation.
“We recognize the vital contributions of employees and volunteers in parks and recreational facilities,” Moore said. “These dedicated supporters keep public parks clean and safe for visitors; organize youth activities; provide educational programming on health, nutrition, first aid and gardening.”
