The Anthony Muñoz Foundation chose its 2023 Scholarship Fund recipients, and a Dixie Heights High School senior was among them.
Developed through Anthony Muñoz and his family’s passion for helping deserving students, the “Scholarship Fund” is a $20,000 opportunity for high school seniors attending a college or university within the foundation’s impact area. The foundation awarded six $20,000 scholarships to local high school seniors.
Dixie Heights High School senior Tiara Watkins was one of the six recipients and will attend Northern Kentucky University. The six recipients were chosen for overcoming adversity, their academic merit, and their ambition to succeed. There were over 230 applications from over 100 Tri-State high schools.
The recipients accepted their scholarships on June 11 during the foundation’s 22nd annual Hall of Fame Dinner.
