Southbank Partners and the City of Bellevue were awarded $3.7 million from the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity federal grant program.

The funds will be used to complete the final pre-construction services required for Riverfront Commons, a 20-mile, multi-use path/transportation corridor along the south bank of the Ohio River from Devou Park to Pendery Park.

The grant program is nationally competitive and awards funding to projects with significant potential to enhance transportation infrastructure nationwide, according to a release. The Biden-Harris Administration announced it had awarded over $2.2 billion from the program to 162 different infrastructure projects nationwide.

Southbank Partners collaborated with the City of Bellevue to apply for this grant as the City was not an eligible applicant.
