The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a resurfacing project on KY 1120, also known as North/South Fort Thomas Avenue, in Campbell County beginning Tuesday, June 27.
This project will begin near Highlands High School to U.S. 27.
Base failure repairs will begin on Tuesday, June 27, followed by resurfacing starting in July. A single-lane closure will occur during daytime working hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. One lane in each direction will be maintained at all times. Flaggers will be used for traffic control on both ends of the work zone when lane closures are in place.
Minor delays should be expected, according to District 6. The cabinet said motorists should exercise caution and watch for construction personnel and equipment entering and leaving the work zone.
This project is expected to be completed by late July.
