England-Idlewild Park in Burlington is once again the host site of the LWS Open, an event on the Disc Golf Pro Tour.

Running from August 11 to 13, fans can purchase weekend passes for $45. VIP tickets have already sold out.

Play kicks off at 8 a.m. on Friday, August 11. The final round for the women’s lead card begins 10 a.m. on Friday, August 13, while the men’s kicks off at 3:30 p.m.

Attendees will have access to a revamped fan zone which includes a jumbotron featuring a live broadcast of the event, over 20 vendors and food trucks and a player autograph tent.

Defending champion Isaac Robinson, six-time world champion Paul McBeth, two-time world champion Ricky Wysocki and current world’s number one ranked player Calvin Heimburg headline the men’s field.

The women’s side features five-time world champions Paige Pierce, defending champion Catrina Allen and Cincinnati native Rebecca Cox.

The LWS Open brings an estimated $800,000 worth of economic impact to Northern Kentucky, according to the NKU Center for Economic Analysis and Development. Additionally, the event draws more than 40% of its attendees from outside the Greater Cincinnati area.
