The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced lane and ramp closures on the bridge overpass from I-71/75 northbound to I-275 eastbound/westbound in Kenton County beginning Friday, June 9.
Crews will be performing a bridge deck overlay project with various lane and ramp closures from Friday, June 9 from 9 p.m. to Monday, June 12 at 6 a.m. Then the following weekend, from Friday, June 16 at 9 p.m. to Monday, June 19 at 6 a.m.
This project will take two weekends to complete.
Overhead and ground message boards will be in place to warn motorists of the upcoming road work. Motorists should expect delays during peak travel times and are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
The contractor will perform bridge overlay work to keep the overpass in good condition. KYTC asks motorists to pay attention and drive slowly near the work zone.
