Enjoy arts and crafts, dancing, and storytellers at the Wee Folks Fest coming to Covington next Saturday, June 10, for people of all ages.
Building upon a local tradition of over 15 years, Wee Folks Fest welcomes children and adults to take part in wand-making and other crafts, watch a maypole dance, or ride on handmade hobby horses.
Throughout the day, storytellers will tell their tales to audiences, with new ones taking the stage at the top of each hour. Look out for a special appearance from SkoolAid, a local group among the storytellers.
The event will feature a range of vendors, primarily comprised of Covington artisans and businesses, including the local arts nonprofit Art Equals.
There will also be a “Pawrade” that showcases small dogs in costumes.
Costumes are highly encouraged for all attendees, including fairies, elves, dwarves, and others.
The event is free and will take place at the 6th Street promenade off Mainstrasse from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
