The Boone County Business Association’s 23rd Annual Golf Outing has been set for Aug. 4 at Boone Links Golf Course in Florence.

Money raised from the outing will support the Business Association’s efforts to provide winter coats, hats and gloves to students enrolled in the Boone County Schools Alternative School Program.

The participating foursomes are scheduled to shotgun start at 9 a.m. Additionally, there will be a longest drive, longest put and closest to the pin competition. If a player manages to score a hole-in-one, they will win a Cadillac package courtesy of Joseph Cadillac in Florence.

Registration is currently open. If a foursome pays their registration fee by July 31, it costs $400, or $100 per golfer. If they pay after July 31, it costs $500 per foursome, or $125 per golfer. Entry fees include green fees with a cart, lunch, refreshments, individual gifts on carts, and a dinner with prizes.
