The Boone County Animal Shelter is hosting an adoption special through Saturday to help elevate a full shelter.
The shelter, located at 5643 Idlewild Road, Burlington, is waiving adoption fees on all spayed and neutered animals.
The shelter is open from noon to 6 p.m. during the week and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
