Local nonprofit Ruff To Royalty will host an event in Covington on June 10 from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. called “Bark & Beauty,” where attendees will learn about pet grooming, care and personal self-care.

“This event is truly unique to the city because it offers something that no other event does by focusing the pampering not just on your pet, but also on YOU and taking care of yourself,” said Ruff to Royalty Founder Carey Rennekamp. “When we’re our best selves, we can be our best for our pets who rely on us. I think we get to a certain stage in life and forget to put ourselves first. This event makes sure you do just that – all while supporting local dog rescues.”

A $10 donation will grant attendees access to the event. Guests are free to donate more if they wish. All proceeds will benefit Proud Pups Rescue and Lucky Tales Rescue. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door of the event, which will be held at 437 W. 6th St.

For more information or to purchase a ticket, visit the event’s sign-up page.
