Kroger is celebrating the grand reopening of its Union Marketplace store at 9001 U.S. Highway 42.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will kick off at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 19. Kroger leadership, Mayor Larry Solomon, and the Boone County High School Band will be in attendance.
Customers are invited to celebrate the fresh look of the 136,449 square-foot stores featuring a new sushi kiosk and updated product departments.
The first 300 customers to arrive at 7 a.m. on Friday will receive a $10 Gift Kroger gift card. Customers can also save $10 when they spend $75 or more Friday and Saturday of this week with a digital coupon.

Friday, May 19:
- 7 a.m.: $10 Kroger gift card for the first 300 customers
- 8 a.m.: Official ribbon-cutting ceremony
- 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.: B105 radio remote with promotional giveaways, including (four) $50 Kroger gift cards
- 10 a.m. to noon: Meet and greet with radio host Jim Scott
