The City of Covington is seeking volunteers to help clean up the banks of the Ohio River this Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event is part of the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission’s annual River Sweep Initiative, which will take place along the river across six states.
A light lunch, as well as gloves, trash bags and litter grabbers, will be provided. Volunteers should wear shoes and clothes; they can get dirty.
