The Independence Volunteer Corps is holding a donation drive to benefit the Kenton County Animal Shelter in Covington throughout April. The drive will collect food and other supplies to aid in the care of the animals at the shelter.
The corps is asking for the following items:
- Dog/Cat Food
- Toys
- Blankets
- Treats
- Peanut Butter
- Spray Cheese
- Cleaning Supplies
Donors can drop items in the marked barrel near the entrance of the Independence City Building on Madison Pike all month long, any time, day or night.
