Florence has authorized the sales of personal property that no longer serve the community, according to city council.
Last week, at the Florence City Council meeting, the city determined through its IT department, police department, public services department and World of Golf that the various items of personal property as identified on their inventory list that are no longer useful to Florence and will be sold or auctioned.
The auctions will go live on March 20 until March 30 on GovDeals.com.
The items that were deemed “ready for auction” within the inventory list were 22 IT Department items, 27 Police Department items such as cars, tactical gear and office supplies, 12 Public Services Department items like cars, tools and a generator and 44 World of Golf items.
