The city of Florence has released its 2022 annual report, where they shared the new businesses that opened around the area in 2022 as well as some stats about the people that call it home.
Florence’s current population sits at 32,199. Of that population, the median household income in the year of 2022 was $51,766. The average age of a Florence resident was 32, and the area’s growth rate was at about 8.93%.
The four categories that really grew for Florence in 2022 were retail, restaurants, entertainment and sporting goods.
Some of the new businesses that opened in 2022 were:
Strive Health Dialysis, a new dialysis center for patients suffering from kidney disease. Their newest location, and first to the region, is located at 4885 Houston Road, Suite 101, Florence.
Ford’s Garage also opened up, marking the first ever Kentucky location. Ford’s Garage will give patrons a 1920’s feel that includes vintage Ford vehicles, gas pumps, and fixtures on display. Check out the garage at 4911 Houston Road, Florence.
19th hole indoor golf bar opened, providing indoor golf with 3 Pro Series Golf Simulators with 17 feet wide screens from Full Swing Golf, a full service bar, plenty of seating and food available from the Blind Squirrel. The first ever Dunkin’ GO came to Florence where users of the Dunkin’ app simply order ahead of time on their device and pick-up their order in-store, drive-thru or curbside.
