Stock up on reads at the Campbell County Public Library’s Friends of the Library Book Sale this weekend.
The library is hosting the event from Jan. 12 through Jan. 14 in the Friends Room on the lower level of the Newport Branch at 901 East 6th St. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Prices range from free to 25 cents to $3. Cash and checks are accepted.Â
The library’s lower level can be accessed from the side parking lot. All profits go to the Friends of the Campbell County Public Library. This nonprofit organization aims to promote and improve library services, materials, and facilities for the people of Campbell County.
No registration is required to attend.
The Friends host a weekend-long used book sale every other month, Thursday through Saturday. Mark your calendar for these 2023 dates:
- March 9-11
- May 11-13
- July 13-15
- September 14-16
- November 9-11
The Friends also host a book sale from 9 a.m. until Noon on the fourth Thursday of the month, January through October.
