Giving Tuesday is a generosity movement that takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Giving Tuesday was created to encourage people to commit an act of kindness, whether that is supporting a local food pantry, giving a donation, or helping a neighbor.
Here are some organizations participating in Giving Tuesday:
City Gospel Mission/Chick-fil-A
Chick-fil-A Restaurants in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky are partnering with City Gospel Mission on Giving Tuesday.
Donate a gift of $50 or more here on Giving Tuesday and receive a coupon for a free Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich or Chicken Nuggets from your local Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Chick-fil-A restaurants.
Donations will support City Gospel Mission’s programs to feed the hungry and help the homeless over the holidays and throughout the coming year.
Santa Maria
Santa Maria is a nonprofit that helps families to attain their educational, financial, and health goals.
In addition to asking for donations, Santa Maria is asking people to create fundraisers on their Facebook and Instagram pages asking friends and family to donate to their nonprofit.
The organization produced a how-to-create a Facebook fundraiser on a computer or mobile device with written instructions here.
