A group of Amazon staff at a Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport hub has started to organize a labor union, seeking at least $30 per hour and other benefits.
Amazon’s national average pay for most jobs is more than $19 per hour.
Through their website, the workers are also asking for 180 hours of paid time off a year, with no cap on accrued time, and they want union representation at disciplinary meetings.
