Martha Arlinghaus, 83, of Villa Hills was killed in a wrong-way crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 75 near the Kyles Lane exit, Covington police said Monday.
Arlinghaus was driving the correct way northbound on I-75 when a car driving the wrong way hit her head on, according to Covington police. She was the only passenger in her vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle that was traveling the wrong way is still hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, police said Monday. The passenger of the vehicle was released from the hospital Sunday.
I-75 was closed for about seven hours on Sunday as police investigated the wreck.
