The Kenton County Sheriff announced Thursday that online tax bill payments can be paid via electronic check.

Head to www.kcor.org to pay using an electronic check. Payment by credit card is still available. Mastercard, VISA and American Express are accepted online as well as in person at both the Independence and Covington locations of the Kenton County Sheriff’s Office.

The card-holder is notified of the consumer fee amount prior to authorization of the card and has the option to opt-out and pay by another payment method. If the consumer fee is accepted and authorized, the consumer fee will appear as a separate charge.

The consumer fee is non-refundable, the sheriff’s office said.

2022 Kenton County tax collections begin Oct. 1 with the tax bills being mailed the last week of September.

If you do not receive your Kenton County tax bill by Oct. 15, contact the sheriff’s office at 859-392-1800.
