A Cincinnati man faces multiple charges in connection to the death of a woman whose body was found in Elsmere over the weekend.
Theodore Lamont Myers, 53, is being held in Cincinnati at the Hamilton County Justice Center. The Kenton County Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for him.
Kenton Co. Police said that Myers is being held on unrelated charges in Hamilton County and is awaiting extradition to Kentucky.
Myers was charged in Kenton County with abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence, both Class D felonies. If convicted, the charges could carry one- to five-year sentences in state prison.
The body of Kadidra Roberts was found in a wooded area in Elsmere on Saturday and identified through an autopsy on Wednesday. Roberts, of Cincinnati, had previously been reported missing by her family in late August.
Police said that the case remains under investigation and that anyone with information about Roberts’s whereabouts prior to her death is asked to call Detective Andrew Kenner at 859-392-1979.
