With the end of the month near and an upcoming three-day weekend, this is a light week for government meetings around the region.
Here are the public meetings that are taking place this week:
Monday, Aug. 29
At 6 p.m., the Campbell County School Board will hold a Working Meeting at the Alexandria Educational Center, 51 Orchard Ln. The agenda can be found on the Campbell County School Board page. Meetings are live streamed on the Campbell County School Board YouTube page.
Thursday, Sept. 1
From 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the Covington Economic Development Authority is holding a meeting at Covington City Hall, 20 W Pike St.
At 5:30 p.m., the Covington Human Rights Commission is holding a meeting at the City Hall Commission Chambers, 20 W Pike St.
Alexandria City Council is holding a meeting at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers at 8236 West Main St. Alexandria. The agenda can be found on Alexandria’s website, and meetings are live streamed on their Facebook page.
