Saturday marked the first day of the Boone County fair, but Monday kicked off official events, competitions and carnival rides.
Gate opening times change daily and rides don’t start running until 6 p.m., so guests will need to plan their visit according to the time gates open for admission. Parking is free.
Gate admission includes all rides, grandstand entertainment, parking and other events. Rides go from 6 p.m. until closing, and Saturday, Aug. 13, from 1 p.m. until closing. Admission tickets can be redeemed for ride passes.
