The emergency department at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Fort Thomas has been honored as a Lantern Award recipient for the second time.
The Lantern Award recognizes emergency departments that demonstrate a notable performance in leadership, practice, education, advocacy, and research.
Vera Hall, senior vice president, chief patient care officer, and chief nursing executive at St. Elizabeth Healthcare said the award was an honor to receive and signifies the care Fort Thomas Emergency Department provides.
“Nursing plays a vital role in fulfilling our mission to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to those we serve,” Hall said.
The Fort Thomas Emergency Department is among 29 national Lantern Award recipients this year. The Fort Thomas Emergency Department also received the Lantern Award from the Emergency Nurses Association in 2019.
